First Spine Surgery (Part 2): Decompression and Stabilization of T11-12 Fracture Dislocation

This exhibit is the continuation of a complex spine surgery which here shows removal of the lamina at T11, removal of disc material at T11-12, repair of the theca sac lacerations with sutures and reinforced with DuraGen. Tisseel is used for a watertight dural closure. Rods are affixed to the pedicles screws already in place bilaterally from T10 to L1. The bone is decorticated and bone graft placed over this to create multilevel bone fusion.
