This medical exhibit features the following multiple images of an ACL replacement. Orientation view of the left leg and knee with anatomy ghosted inside. Enlarged detail of the left knee joint, ligaments and cartilage revealing the pre-operative condition with complete tear of the ACL and tear injury to the posterior horn of the medial meniscus. Insertion of multiple arthroscopic instruments into the left knee joint. Detail of the arthroscopic partial medial meniscectomy with debridement of the ACL stump. Additional open incisions to harvest hamstring and drill holes for ACL reconstruction. Completion of the ACL reconstruction with allograft, endobutton and an interference screw placement.
